Allow us students to put the full instructions into the comments. The 1200- limit is ridiculous. My instructions were over 2200 words. I made sure the main ideas were in there. Sorry you had to decipher a little bit, but it is the best I can do.

I wasn't sure if the tutors are familiar with IEW, but a lot of the feedback has to do with citing sources and adding more detail. In IEW, most of the essays are rewriting a source document that was given to us. No added research is involved.
