The University of West Georgia鈥檚 Richards College of Business offers its online MBA through the WebMBA庐 program鈥攁 consortium of University System of Georgia institutions where courses are taught by top faculty from all seven schools. Designed for working professionals with at least two years of work experience, the program delivers a curated curriculum that students complete within two years. The MBA program does not include electives or concentrations; instead, it emphasizes core competencies in leadership, data-driven decision-making, technology integration, global business strategy, and risk analysis. The 10 required courses鈥攔anging from Strategic Marketing and Managerial Finance to Global Business and Business Intelligence鈥攁re offered asynchronously, allowing for flexible scheduling. Collaboration is encouraged through Learning Teams, where students work together on projects and coordinate online meetings to enhance their learning experience. New cohorts start in January and August. Before the program begins, students must attend a two-day orientation in Atlanta where they will participate in communication and team-building exercises, personality assessments, technology updates, and meetings with faculty. In the WebMBA庐 program, students learn how to evaluate complex business challenges, apply ethical frameworks, and integrate cross-functional business strategies. The program鈥檚 structure enables students to apply their classroom knowledge directly to their current roles, enhancing both immediate and long-term career outcomes.
